Be prepared for MASSIVE amounts of Honda fan boys. I went ONCE. Never have I seen so many 18 second passes which ended with many high fives and "Bro! you were so fast"'s. Maybe its changed since then, one could only hope.

Man those guys are funny, but growing up around muscle cars and V8s distorts your view on things. I thought anything more than a 13 was slow. I used to go to the oldies races locally and the slowest car there was a 57 desoto all original car that was turning 15s or 16s. I still chuckle about that car. The lady driving was having a blast and was consistent to go pretty far in eliminations.

I can deal with the kiddos going to just have fun, or the kid who is just getting into cars, it's the kids who poorly strap an ebay turbo to a civic and think it can take down everything.

People like that are funny to watch when they lose to a stock 6 banger mustang or camaro. Or even a stock older muscle car.

I was reading the rules, lots of stuff about passengers, then "no car faster than 13.99 1st can have passengers" - 1st thought was, if your car is that slow why does the passenger even wanna come? It's like a highway on ramp

I remember when I was 16 I rode out with my grandpa for all ford day on his 34 ford 5 window coupe. I learned I could race at 16 but couldn't ride till 18. The coupe was running 15s due 2 something rear gears and a over cammed 302 that was in the car when he bought it. I got to thinking that should be the other way around so the 16 year old could watch and learn.
